Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, actor who has been a part of the SSC's board of directors since 2011, is the co-founding artistic director of the new theatre firm Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 through the year 2019. In addition to serving as the SSC's Artistic Director, Lauren Ash-Morgan also held the positions of producer costume/set designers composer/music directors and text coaches. Though she typically led the acting group In her final season with SSC King Lear, she became a director and lighting designer.
